Payment Options Available at Decohive

Option 1—Pay in 3 Installments (Interest-Free)

Split your purchase into 3 equal, interest-free payments, collected automatically every 30 days.


How it works:


1) The first payment

is taken at the point of purchase—specifically, once your order has been confirmed as shipped or processed


2) The second payment

is collected 30 days after the first payment


3) The third payment is collected 60 days

after the first payment


4) Payments are charged automatically to your card — no manual transfers needed.


Important: At the point of purchase, Klarna will freeze the amount of your first installment on your card. This money cannot be spent elsewhere. If your items are not shipped, Klarna will unfreeze or refund this amount — though this may take a few days depending on your bank.

You can view and manage all payments at any time via the Klarna app or by logging in at klarna.com/uk.


Eligibility:


1) You must be a UK resident, aged 18 or over


2) You must hold a valid debit or credit card in your own name that has not expired


3) Approval is subject to Klarna's assessment of your financial circumstances


4) Minimum order: £35 — Maximum order: £2,500


Cost:


1) No interest.


2) No fees — as long as payments are made on time.


Late Payments (Pay in 3):

If Klarna is unable to collect payment on the scheduled due date, a further attempt will be made 7 days later, followed by one final attempt 7 days after that. After a 7-day grace period and a minimum of 4 friendly reminders, a late fee of £5 will be charged. This fee is capped at 25% of the order value, and no more than 2 late fees will be applied per order. Persistent non-payment may result in the debt being referred to a collections agency.

Option 2 — Pay in 30 Days (Buy Now, Pay Later)

Receive your order now and pay up to 30 days later — completely interest-free, with no fees when you pay on time.


How it works:


1) Complete your order at checkout and select Pay in 30 days


2) Once your order is shipped, Klarna will send you a payment reminder by email with full instructions


3) Payment is due 30 days from the date your order is shipped


4) Pay conveniently via the Klarna app or at klarna.com/uk using any debit or credit card


5) You can also choose to pay early at any time through the Klarna app—there is no penalty for early payment


6) In the Klarna app, you may also have the option to extend your due date if needed.

2) Approval is subject to Klarna's assessment of your circumstances


3) This assessment will not affect your credit score

2) No fees when paid on time


Late or Missed Payments (Pay in 30 Days):

If payment is not received by the due date, Klarna will send reminder notifications via the app and email and, if necessary, by text or letter. Persistent non-payment may result in the outstanding balance being referred to an external debt collection agency. Debt collection is always used as a last resort. Missing payments may affect your ability to use Klarna's services in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions


Does using Klarna affect my credit score?

1) For Pay in 3, Klarna performs a soft credit check at the point of application. This is only visible to you and does not appear on your credit file or affect your credit score.

2) For Pay in 30 Days, the eligibility assessment does not affect your credit score even if you miss payments. However, if an outstanding balance is referred to a debt collection agency, this may be recorded on your credit file.

Can I pay off my balance early?

Yes. You can log into the Klarna app at any time and make an early payment on your outstanding balance. There are no early repayment penalties.


Are there any fees for using Klarna?

"Pay in 3" and "Pay in 30 Days" are both interest-free with no fees when paid on time. Late fees may apply to Pay in 3 as described above.

What if I need to return my order?

Report your return directly through the Klarna app so that your payment schedule can be updated accordingly. Returning an item to Decohive does not automatically pause your Klarna payments — you must also notify Klarna via the app or customer service to ensure your account is adjusted promptly. Once the return is confirmed by Decohive, Klarna will adjust your outstanding balance or issue a refund as appropriate.


What if I have a dispute about my order?

If you have a problem with a purchase—for example, an item that hasn't arrived or does not match the description—you are covered by Klarna's Buyer Protection Policy.
